ChatGPT Conversation Navigator (“the Extension”) is a browser extension that helps you navigate, search, bookmark, copy, and export conversations on ChatGPT.
Summary
- We do not collect personal information.
- We do not sell or share data with third parties.
- We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
- Conversation content stays on your device (or is downloaded by you). Nothing is uploaded to our servers — we do not operate a backend for this Extension.
What the Extension accesses
ChatGPT page content
The Extension runs only on chatgpt.com and chat.openai.com. It reads
the visible conversation in the page so it can show an outline, search turns, and export
Markdown/PDF. That content is processed locally in your browser.
Local storage (chrome.storage.local)
The Extension may store on your device:

Prompt and response text is not stored in Extension storage. Exports (Markdown/PDF) are files you save yourself.

Data sharing
We do not transmit Extension data to any server. There is no account system for this Extension.
Children’s privacy
The Extension is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect children’s data.
Changes
We may update this policy when the Extension changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change accordingly.
